Upon entering a match my mech is stuck spinning left.
  • Unplugging my mouse does not stop it.
  • Unbinding my mouse input does not stop it.
  • Restarting the game does not stop it.
The bug occurs every match.
Gameplay is completely inhibited; severity 5.
I've experienced controls being "stuck on" in other games as a result of making input during loading (mostly on the XBox with an analog stick being pushed during a load screen.) I have control tested for this and it's not the case.

Win 7, 8Gigs, 560Ti

We've seen another report on this in a support ticket and I've bugged it. I don't have a quick answer on it for you but we are investigating.

Add another player with the same problem....constant left hand rotation. Mouse input can stop it briefly ( a second or two ) but no more then that.

Could you also sort out the customization with the xbox controller. It does not work.

It might be worth noting I have a Razer Deathadder, but as I've said the mouse doesn't seem to be the culprit.

Do you have any gamepads or controllers plugged in_ I had a logitech joystick plugged in and I had to unplug it. It stopped the spinning. I'd rather not have to take my controller out whenever I play this though.

I do have a Joystick plugged in! Let me test it.

Brilliant, that was it. Unplugged my joystick (Logitech Extreme 3D Pro) and the spinning stops.

That is the same joystick I have. I experienced this same problem with Borderlands 2 as well. I can't say whether it's that joystick specifically or not.

This is a good piece of information that I'll add to the bug report. Many thanks!

Same issue here. I really badly want to be able to pilot with a joystick. It is killing me, it just feels so smooth.

Just got a Logitech Extreme™ 3D Pro for Christmas, asked for it to play Hawken. Then I get in game and run into this same issue! The control is stuck going left for some reason! Any word on when this will get fixed_ Or is this something to talk to logitech about_

I'm having the same problem, as well.  I'm using the Logitech Extreme 3D pro configured with JoyToKey.  I have the X/Y axis on the joystick set to mouse movement X/Y.  Works well on the on desktop, and there's no calibration errors in JoyToKey or Windows Device configuration.  The game keeps spinning left, and when I try to turn right, the mech will slightly strafe right as well as turn.

I also have some key bindings for Hawken on my Logitech G13 Gamepad.  I mostly configured WASD movement and other functions.  Pretty much just keyboard functions to the G13.  I have no issues with my gamepad.  I even turned off the joystick feature on the G13.

It works fine when playing with the mice and keyboard (G13), but immediately starts to turn left when the Extreme 3D Pro is plugged in.  This happens regardless if I have JoyToKey activated or not.

Please help us.  Having a joystick really adds to the immersion of your great game.  Thanks for any help.

Yup, same issues here everyone.

EXCEPT!  I am using the Thrustmaster 1700M.  Constantly spins, only stops when unplugged.

I am planning on using two joysticks. One for movement one for aiming.

Hi -
This is called out in the Open Beta Known Issues thread.
http://community.pla...a-known-issues/

"Connecting some third-party controllers causes the mech to spin counter-clockwise until disconnected."

Thx,
Merry

Thank you Merry, I knew that you guys were aware of the issue. I just wanted to add that it wasn't just the Logitech joystick.

Thank you very much for taking the time to respond though.
