Fanboys beware: From now on if you start doing it I will ignore the post. Fanboyism ruins conversations the same way religion, science, and politics due. We're here to fawn over hawken, not other things.

Not if it was a different type of decoy, like a projected image from your mech that makes it look like you have another mech following you around.

Also i doubt jammers will be implemented because of the way Hawken's radar system and map design work out. Since most areas of the map are multi-leveled and the radar shows no terrain, i would op to just go on heal mode to get off peoples radars instead of jamming their radars...
So like the halo reach decoy, that instantly gave it away because it ran directly foreward, without shooting, and without tracking, and without looking or moving the same direction you were_ OR it would follow you_

Maybe a turret could be made that projects a Heavy mech in the shut down position. It wouldn't show up on the map anyways because it's shut down and any enemy that sees this juicy vulnerable target will immediately try to attack it. that'd be a great bait option.

I also like the idea of having a number of radar jammers that have variable range and sometimes only activate for a burst of time. Adds a lot of playstyle and tactic options.

NO, it woould be to unbalanced for a mech to able deploy something that can jam radar for you and your teammates.

If it had some kind of interface to interact with, then yeah, a jamming system would be awesome.

There is a radar jamming device (of sorts) avaliable in game.

Due to the lack of NDA on CBE1 I am able to say that all mechs are able to purchase and equip a radar scrambler which has a one-time-use per spawn.

The device does not really block all radar signatures but scrambles the signals making the enemy think that there is more of your team in different positions than you are in reality.
Each device deployed will self-destruct if your mech is destroyed so you can keep dieing and spam items everywhere.
Also the 'Radar Booster' and 'Radar Jammer' are actually physical objects that you deploy in-game which if the enemy finds, they can be shot and destroyed.
