Okay, I live in Korea, so my internet connection to other nations could be slow. but I'm getting Unable to contact reliable source issue for two days!

Do you guys know how can I solve this problem_ or maybe devs can make "Offline Installer"...

I had the same problem installing on my laptop today. I can confirm this fix worked for me as well. The file I had to delete was actually called hawkenLauncher.version (not hawken.version), but deleting it and restarting the launcher seemed to fix the problem. Delete the file found here:
Start -> Computer -> C drive -> Program Files (x86) -> MeteorEntertainment-> HAWKEN-> InstalledHawkenFiles -> Hawkenlauncher.version

it return after i delete it

Confirming this fixed it. Google search brought me straight to this thread, btw, so if it isn't already, I would recommend this gets a sticky. I now get to wait an hour while the launcher downloads stuff.... *sigh* back to EVE Online while I wait, I guess.

i deleted the hawkenlauncher.version not the hawken.version that the link says to delete, as that didnt exist on my computer. I couldnt connect in order to download the game in the first place. anyway, deleting that worked for me. thanks to OP.

Removed the launcher version file, ran hawken, launcher opened and patched properly, then continued to install the rest of the game. Worked a charm, thanks.
