reinstall was not an option, after downloading the client i got the launcher failure
on fresh install i got the same error
so i need to solve the problem another way

Did a re-install, waited for the patch, game worked. Turned computer on today, Retrieving Manifest error again... I think we need a new Launcher...

Hi people, about manifest troubles... I fixed this bug (for me) very simple: i closed my Origin and Skype, reloaded launcher... AND IT'S WORKS. Try this, and say helps this thing for you or not.

I have same problem, but now I only strat HawkenGame-Win32-Shipping.exe and the game is work. Thanks for support!

Hi i have found a solution
Ok, what did i do_ Try doing this:
Open Internet Options (from control panel or IE) -> Advanced -> scroll down to section security
-> here i unchecked 3 checkboxes:
- warn about cerificates adress don't match
- check if server certificate have been reverted
- check if publisher certificate have been reverted
This worked for me
