All,

I'm back with a new Mumble Skin that is nearly identical to the TeamSpeak skin I created (it is still pending approval on TeamSpeak.com). The following is a redo of my original here.

*UPDATED* (Counter reset at 12 downloads... sigh)
Attached File  MBL-HawkenSkin1.0.2.zip   980.19K   201 downloads

I went FAR FAR out of my way to do this one and I don't expect anyone to have many complaints as I am pretty sure it is one of the most extravagant Mumble Skins I've ever seen, let alone made.

Enjoy!

1) Create a "Skins" directory under "C:Program FilesMumble" or "C:Program Files (x86)Mumble" if one does not already exist.

2) Copy these folders to the Mumble directory.  Example: "C:Program FilesMumbleSkinsHawkenSkin"

3) In the Mumble client, go to Configure -> Settings -> User Interface, and beside the "Skin" box, select "Browse...".

4) A window should pop up and display the skins folder. Open that folder and then open the HawkenSkin folder.

5) Now select either the HawkenSkin.qss

6) Click "Apply" at the bottom right.

7) YOU ****MUST**** EXIT AND RE-OPEN MUMBLE for all changes and images to take effect!!!

Looks nice, it's a little hard to read in some of the menus though. Seems a little bright in areas.

Well not necessarily hard to read, but hard on my eyes. The colors are pretty bright in the Audio Input menu, it takes my eyes a bit of time to adjust since some parts are nice (like Transmit, doublepush time, hold time), but the bright parts like TRANSMISSION and combo boxes colors are off and don't quite fit in. The little blips for the bars like on quality and doublepush time are bright and could be toned down a little bit. Also random red boxes stick out too much.

Just keep in mind these are just opinions. Overall very nice.

I changed the menu's just because you gave me feedback hehe. Try the new one out.

The amount of effort in this reskin is absurd, thanks for the great skin. My favorite detail is probably the exhaust trails on mouse hover in the menus.

Glad you like it! The afterburner exhaust mouse over is done twice... once in grey for disabled menu items and once in RGB color for selectables.

1900 Lines of code in all to do it... plus time spent in Photoshop and InkScape to do all the images + icons + overlay. I tested every layout and made sure every screen was visible and not skewed or illegible.

Just glad there's enough mumble users out there to enjoy it.

I'm not getting the Mech in the background of the main screen, just on orange fade. Any ideas_

I figured mumble was the gold standard now. the transmissions are near instant. Much faster than vent.

1.2.3a (Stable). The previous version of the skin was fine.

Same.

I reinstalled mumble 1.2.3a and found that they changed a render object.  I have updated the skin and it should work... it works on mine anyways. I even installed 1.2.4 BETA and made sure it worked with the latest code. So, if you are still having issues with the skin after using the latest update I posted, can you tell me if any of the other images work (hawken logo in the top right etc).

Side note... Did you close out Mumble and re-open it after applying the skin_
