just unlocked sharp shooter today only 2nd day but got to say i like the damage from the sniper cannon and i dont even have to get close little slow on the reload though

Difficult to say, but.. actually, I'm loving my Zeker as I'm leveling it up.

I place CT-Recruit as my main. Honestly_ It's really just the best all-rounder, plus it's my most leveled mech so therefor my most powerful. It really suits my "charge" playstyle of rushing into the fray at medium or close combat. Technically the Brawler is "suppose" to be better at that, but honestly it just falls short, and simply prefer the Assault rifle and TOW over the Vulcan or Hellfires ANY day. CTR is just what I need, he can engage at literally any range with at least some results, he has HP to survive in close combat, his Cooldown special has saved me during extended fights between 2-3 mechs countless times, and DAT TOW.

I also play Sharpshooter, but honestly_ It's just painful to level up, especially between 1-7. It does pitiful damage until you can get it leveled, and its fairly hard to use. (still finding myself desperately blindfiring at close range against those damned scouts). Now that I have it at 9 things are starting to get to the point I can consistantly get some kills, but my Sharpshooter K/D is nowhere near my CRT K/D.

I abosolutely love the Sharpshooter. I just love picking off the enemies one by one, or roasting that fuzzy bunny who charges in and leaving him at half health before the fight even starts. The play-style is so different from other mechs. I can easily have matches with 24/1 kd with a half-decent team. I like the fact that so many sharpshooters suck, which makes it open-season for me.

I've grown accustom to the Assault and I'm beginning to like the Rocketeer.

I've not really spent much time in any of the light mecha, but I'll be able to see which one really suits me once I can test-drive them.

Infiltrator for hit'n'run tactics and trickster nature. Brawler for that IN_YOUR_FACE! feel.

1) Bruiser; the main mech. I love chainguns and missiles. Also, I love the aesthetics.

2) CR-T (Because he's the only other mech I have...) Fred is fun, when I'm not leveling anybody else.

_ 3) Reaper, holy fuzzy bunny, he is my friend. I'm definitely below par most of the time. I need to work on my shot placement and pacing. But tons of fun.

_ 4) Brawler, I think a fatty with a shotgun/tow and I could be good friends.

4) Rocketeer. Maybe its all the experience with HF's from the Bruiser, but I feel like a monster when I drive this thing.

My favourite mech_... good question, indeed. Hmmm...

I'd say.. All mechs. Because would depend on what my mood is and/or map I'm playing, game mode, team... Would be a matter of seeing the whole picture.. and the inherent magic of it.
As well as learning the love that is being put into each of our released mechas in Hawken, one by one, by the devs plus the positive feedback we provide daily in these forums..

At this very moment.. Recruit and Scout. (Both leveled up to 25 already).

Although... as I'm leveling up several other chassis, feeling good as I'm moving forward and exploring more options which probably will end up changing what my current preferences are; relatively in brief.

Assault legion is best legion, in my opinion, anyway.
Many reasons for my appreciation of piloting the Assault, but I would have said that the main contributing factor is winning a face-off against a technically-superior recruit mech and winning through sheer spacial awareness and mobility. MRW:
