Create a new account.
Be sure to activate before even launching the launcher.
Once you activate, log onto the website here with the account.
If it shows that you have 5000 game credits (not Meteor credits) then the account should be good to go
You can now use the launcher and log into the game.
It should properly sync.
If the website still shows 0 game credits.... Make another account and try again.
There is some kind of conflict within the game here about the syncing and activation part.
If you try to sync with the client before you have activated via email you fuzzy bunny up the system.
Sometimes even if you activate you get 0 pts. I'm not sure whats going on, hopefully this helps the devs.

This is a thread to reiterate to the devs that the Syncing issue still exists for new players.
Detailed description of bug:
1) Once you click launch on the launcher the game runs.
It attempts to log you in
2) Log in is successfull because you can see the display name change from "rookie3123" or whatever to your account name
3) heres where the bug happens. When it tries to *******SYNC******* your account you get the following pop up error:
"Syncing Account Failed The Meteor service is unreachable"
Please don't post on here unless you have the exact same sync bug as a new user, in order to avoid hi-jacking this thread.
Only post here if you have the same bug so they know its still there and keep working on this issue.
