Synching Issues on new accounts *Yes I activiated*

Create a new account.
Be sure to activate before even launching the launcher.
Once you activate, log onto the website here with the account.
If it shows that you have 5000 game credits (not Meteor credits) then the account should be good to go
You can now use the launcher and log into the game.
It should properly sync.
If the website still shows 0 game credits.... Make another account and try again.

There is some kind of conflict within the game here about the syncing and activation part.
If you try to sync with the client before you have activated via email you fuzzy bunny up the system.
Sometimes even if you activate you get 0 pts. I'm not sure whats going on, hopefully this helps the devs.

This is a thread to reiterate to the devs that the Syncing issue still exists for new players.

Detailed description of bug:

1) Once you click launch on the launcher the game runs.
It attempts to log you in

2) Log in is successfull because you can see the display name change from "rookie3123" or whatever to your account name

3) heres where the bug happens. When it tries to *******SYNC******* your account you get the following pop up error:

"Syncing Account Failed The Meteor service is unreachable"


Please don't post on here unless you have the exact same sync bug as a new user, in order to avoid hi-jacking this thread.

Only post here if you have the same bug so they know its still there and keep working on this issue.

I have the Same issue, my E-mail was verified way be fore i even downloaded.

Cheers. I'm trying a fresh install on the random chance that fixes it, but hopefully it'll be fixed one way or another. I can also verify that it was happening pre-Reaper patch by a few hours :S

Thanks for this BUT there is a problem!

I can't register twice (or more often):
1. my e-mail address
2. my pilot name

How many E-Mail Addresses should i make before an account here works as intended_ How often should i think about a new good pilot name before an account here works as intended_

kidding _ I have verified my account before i logged into the game! I has downloaded the gameclient via verification link!

EDIT:
I just created a new account (NOT verified)but there are already 5000 credits on it!


BUT I WANT THIS PILOTNAME HERE! :(

Reinstall didn't work, just to let ya know. And there's no way I should need to make 2-3 accounts just to play one.

So does making a new account work_ Can you use the same email address for more accounts_

ok I made a new account and it shows I now have 5000 credits. But this sucks as I liked my first call sign and I had to use another email addrss which I don't like to use for gaming. So is there a way to get my first account working eventually_ and can anything I gain on this account be transfered later to my first account_ I know it's a lot to ask.

That was also my idea, so i have contacted the support couple hours ago, still waiting for response. I hope they can delete my account so reusing of my email & nick is possible.

same as the other - no server loggin after syncing (or during) ... windows 7 64bit ... following i have done

- registering
- activating
- installing the client-software

but cant login
