Can we get some RSS feeds set up for the forums_ I want 'em so the bot we have on IRC can display new announcement posts when they are posted.

I'm sure there's a bunch of other people who wouldn't mind RSS feeds either.

I don't like to bump but this forum gets so little attention, and it's either this or I have to write a program to scrape the forums for data instead of just someone going into the admin interface and spending 5 minutes (or less) setting up a RSS feed in the settings. At the very least a feed for the news board would be nice, so if the server's going down people can get notified of it.

It does not appear the RSS feed is updating itself...

Edit: It just started working again, not sure what was up but the feed was not up to date (by over an hour) when I posted this, then suddenly started working.

We were previously updating the RSS cache only every 60 minutes, which was probably a little too infrequent. It should be updating much more often now.

I'm polling at 5 minutes right now (for IRC), if you guys are updating slower than that I'll scale it back.
