I usually log out and back in real quick to fix this when it happens.

This just started for me today too. I've had it before, during the whole friends list buggeroo, but no issues between that fix and now. Suddenly its not working now. Log out and in didn't work either

same problem here, logout-login don't solve it...

I just downloaded Hawken yesterday and this problem has been persistent upon every log-in. I'm holding off on playing further until this is fixed as I can't play with the people that convinced me to download/play it. Logging out/in or forcing a resync does not help.

The forum profiles are completely independent of the in-game friends list, by the way.

plz dont give up this game so easy. there is one way to see friend list if you have same problem as mine.
use game matching to join a game and play for a while then click the friends list, if you see a small circle showing up, you will get friends list back soon.
