AKA "wohali" or "shinything," I've enjoyed giant fighting robots since I was first exposed to Robotech and Voltron as a kid, and playing in Chicago's Battletech Center in the mid-to-late 80s (when it was still run by Amigas!). I've had the good fortune to actually build a few robots in University, though the technology I used to automated them (Inmos transputers programmed in Occam) are far outdated by now.

Honestly, though, I find the mechanics of driving a mech off-putting; it's interesting, but just not fun. FPSes like BF2/3 and PlanetSide 2 are more my speed.
