Hello people,i am new to hawken and i really seem to like it.I started playing tonight and i really like the fact that its somewhat different than most games out there

Btw since i am making an introduction thread i would like to ask something noobish too

I would like to buy a light mech as my first mech(apart from the recruit of course),which one do u reccomend_
(i am thinking about the reaper)

Choose the mech you want based on your playstyle in other shooter games. If you like to play at range and stay mobile then the reaper is good for you. If you prefer CQC then the scout is a good option or if you like more niche roles then the infiltrator. As long as you can see potential in the class and how you want to play it then pick it up and try it out. I suggest going over to the promo codes topic in the general forums to get some credits early.

Thanks dude,i am checkin the thread u mentioned ,i tried to redeem a code,but the site seemed to be loading forever in order to do it,still waiting..
Edit:Redeem code doesnt seem to be working,i dont know if its a site prob ,but i tried it out with mozilla and chrome

Another Edit:Codes seem to work only if i click "redeem code" from the main page of the site,if i try doing it from the forums its doesnt work
