Want to change your HAWKEN callsign_ Now you can for a limited time!

• Log in to PlayHawken.com.
  
• Click on your callsign at the top.
  
• Click on the Edit button.
  
• Enter a new callsign.

A few important notes about this tool:

• This is a temporary, pre-beta feature. We will make an announcement before it is removed.
  
• All naming conventions apply.
  
• Abuse of this feature will not be tolerated.
  
• If your callsign does not appear updated on the forum, delete your PlayHawken.com cookies and restart your browser.

This is very useful when you enter a callsign with errors. Luckly I have the callsign I want.

Today I registered, but it said the name I reseved back in June is now taken.  Looks like there is a bug in the new signups_  It would be great to get guidance on how to fix this.  I mailed support@playhawken , and I tried the method above but it says the name is taken.

I'm in the same boat as Takk/Tygen, the callsign I signed up with previously shows as unavailable.

EDIT: I checked again and, for me, it's all good. But I understand the frustration and hope the problem is resolved soon for those effected.

lol when i try to change my callsign it said that special characters are not allowed so i did'nt change it

Hi support team--the callsign issue I posted about earlier (and mailed about) hasn't been resolved, and I've not received any email back other than the autoresponse when I submitted the issue.  I'd really appreciate some help here.  Thanks, looking forward to the Alpha!

Has this feature been removed_ I looked around to see if there were any posts saying it had been and haven't seen any, but when I click my callsign and then click edit on my personal info on my profile page I am only allowed to change my name.

EDIT: Nevermind, I found the announcement that it is disabled, at least temporarily.

So when I registered I didn't get to choose a call sign.. I have a random call sign filled with jumbled incoherent letters and numbers... totally unmemorable.... and in order to change my call sign I'll need to pay_! Seriously Meteor__ How are any of my friends going to understand or remember a random call sign like this: D7LWGx6Di33ufzZs  .......Not a good way to start off a campaign.

btw... another reason is YouTube gaming channels(like mine)/content creators  will be a little upset of not being able to register with their branding... just a thought. :/

Sorry, but I don't believe you. Make a new account if it bothers you that badly.

Why don't you be more constructive the bluntly calling someone you know nothing about a lier.
I don't wish to use another email address to register, and that's not the issue anyway.
Issue is something happened to where I didn't get to enter a user specified call sign.
Now since you have 335 posts at this time it's a safe bet to say you may have been in the closed beta and didn't see the previous registration form which just had a email and password entry field. So maybe consider that next time before throwing insults ok_

File a support ticket using the link at the top of the page, since this isn't a "oops, I changed my mind" callsign change. That'd be your best bet, at least.
