Hello all , I discovered This solution by my own experience in Pc games .

the Solution is very easy and simple Just follow these easy steps :
1- open your control panel
2 - select windows firewall
3 - select " allow-a-program-to-communicate-through-windows-firewall "
4 -  select change setting , and now just add the hawken launcher to the list , Then ok , and everything will be ok .

Please watch This youtube video uploaded and made by me ( MrHm ) explaining how to do the above steps.

That doesn't sound like a firewall issue as all that steam does is acces the .exe files that you put in the directory. Or that's what was explained to me. (Not an expert)

Nothing worked for me so far.

The Installer runs for about 5 seconds than stops and disappears ... afterwards the game folder is only about 35 mb - nowhere near the estimated 4,5 gb.

I ran both the installer and the *.exe as administrator in windows 7 compatibility mode on win 7 64bit and had them checked in the windows firewall as well as in my other software firewall.

i uninstalled, re-downloaded and changed my password and destination folder a couple of times ... i don't know what else to do ...

when will the developers finally adress this issue _
