I don't think you understand, the redeem code button is for when you have a code to redeem, so you have to have the code first. You get these codes from promotional offers that Meteor/Adhesive collaborate on with other companies.
For example, if you purchased a Nvidia card a few months ago, you were given a code for 25$ or 50$ worth of Meteor credits.
You don't need any codes to download or play the game.
