I imagined Stroggified, but less extensive. More like Robo-cop made by people who don't have enough money for Robo-cop.

I'm a fan of the TIE fighter pilots' gear. Hawken pilots presumably need a full atmospheric suit because isn't the air contaminated with some kind of virus_

Something baggy with life-support gear on it and a fuckhueg helmet for the HUD.

No images, but I always envisioned it as similar to the more rugged, civvy wear pictured in a few of the above pics. The mechs are pieces of trash and I'd imagine they get ungodly hot and uncomfortable inside, but the pilots aren't exactly of the background nor wealth to invest in fancy cooling attire or protective gear and just slap on what they need.

Yep, maybe something more 'Elysium' like would fit better, but i guess that aside of booth official pilots, there would be mercs, PMCs, rogues, volunteers and rebels. Maybe something like this:
