So I download the installer from the website, everything goes fine but then I run it and it says "Retrieving manifest" for about 5 minutes. Then it says "Unable to download manifest". If I try clicking on the settings/gear thing in the top of the launcher and it says "Verify not available while launcher is busy." So basically I can't download it at all. I have no idea why this is happening. I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling Hawken. I have also restarted my computer a couple times. Made sure I was running as admin, changed where Hawken installed to. Tried what other people did to fix it but nothing happened. Also it says that it is unable to connect to http://www.playhawken.com/launcher but when I go to my internet I can get on the page. Maybe that means something, also I have tried allowing it in the Firewall, I have tried disabling the Firewall. Nothing is working. I use to play it on my old computer and it worked fine.

Try this.

https://playhawken.z...pting-to-launch

Also this too.

II: Delete the .version files
1. Go to: C:Program Files (x86)MeteorEntertainmentHawkenInstalledHawkenFiles
2. Delete "Hawken.version" and "HawkenLauncher.version"
3. Restart the launcher.

well it looks like a 3rd party program, hawken launcher cant access the internet
Are you behind a proxy server _ (internet explorer/internet options/connections/lan settings   take a screenshot) i am able to reproduce your issue by using a proxy server.
Are you using ipv6_
The other pc, on which it worked, was it on the same network_

Advanced solution: you can try to run a wireshark/tcpdump/tethereal trace on your network and see what it happening, check with netstat
the port being used and make sure it is ok. If you want i can try to give a hand via a webcollaboration of some kind(teamviewer).

Note, I didn't see a video card in the description (i bet you have one with that killer mb and proc), the 4600 intel series is one of the best intel has but ... in terms of gpu the best from intel sucks, if you do rely on integrated graphics there are sites that tell you if you are able to run a game or not, google "can you run it_" and first result should do.

If you do not see this signature don't worry it is not really invisible, its infiltrating, look closely and you might see some distorsion,
