Equal walking speed in any direction, low boost speed.

At first glance.. I'm like saying No to 4-legged mechs. although... who knows in the future_ Comes to mind an statment made by Mr. Hughes on new D Class mechs some time ago. So maybe yes... maybe not.

Time will tell.. :D

Voted for Yes. I want a huge 4legs (or more) mech playing a BOSS role i.e. equipped with heavy and fast regenerating shields, advanced weaponry and great in size, capable to withstand alone a long time on battlefield, but slow and clumsy. In BOSS TDM would be 1 player piloting BOSS vs 6 players in standard mechs trying to shoot him down. The number of respawns for attackers could be set on a sensible level, that both sides would have similar chances. In this match technicians would play a crucial role...

Indeed. I do apologize for the... Harsh words whall we say. I was merely flustered by the amount of dissaproval that many give to new ideas (without bothering to at least analyze them).
And no, I am not trying to sound "smart", I truly do prefer to write like this.

Also, I have edited it for future viewers.

Yes and no.

Four legs for slow as fuzzy bunny long range Axe that couldn't boost, but had super range (low dps). That would be a fun platform to play as. It would function horribly as a spawn sniper (since lacking boost like the Ripper and SS) and would be better for holding down AA in Seige (functioning more like ranged suppression) or picking at Axes that are coming up on a silo or such.

I realize there are C-classes that perform these tasks, which is why I say no. Rocketeer, from what I've seen, performs ranged suppression well. and there are plenty of Axes that can pick at approaching enemies (ie Reaper, SS, Rocketeer, and any other Axe since all the maps are rather claustrophoic and cluttered).

But if more open maps such as Bunker come out (and devs come through with Horde mode, and they probably won't), then there's a greater chance of more diverse Axe designs in the future, including four legged Axes.

take heavy or class D to a new level: fortress mech, but 3 sided (vulnerable rear, as with Cs now), sorta slow in mobile, but immobile stationary lock in fortress mode--a step up from Siege mech. not all that formidable with weps (cannon, missile, "siege EOC", whatever), but able to accommodate at least one other mech (could you see this with a Brawler backed into the Fortress' rear "nacelle"_ awesome bangthumper of a fight machine)
put him where you want No Body to Go, and literally "back him up". heh. could lend a new twist to a Battle for Illal map strategy.

Maybe as a one off, but not as a mainstream class or anything. Reminds me of GITS...
