Simply put it is a gamemode is a test of how well you operate with your allies, the purpose being to promote teamplay, and its hilarious so why not_

Spawn into a TDM/Siege/MA

Every member of the game chooses a C class and then hits F, he must remain in turret mode indefinitely(this means no healing. You cannot leave turret mode at all) until either death or the match ends, point of the game_ To win the game with as few deaths on your team as possible, meaning you must constantly be working as a group, monitoring your teammates and keeping them and yourself alive while trying to kill the enemy/take the silo/defend the AA.

This is easier in a premade match; however, me and Deidall tested its theory with just the two of us and a couple buddies on the enemy team and even with joiners coming in and playing a variety of other classes if you are working as a unit it is still successful and good practice regardless.

Did I mention it is both Fun And Hilarious_

Anyway, I am planning on trying to set up a server this weekend(accomplished by befriending all members and then having them join on you in an empty server)

By the thread title, I thought it was C-mechs in turret-mode racing around a pre-determined route around a map.

I loved the Race game mode in Halo 1 PC.

Nope, so running node/shield is recommended

it is a hardmode style attrition will actually be brought back into the game if for nothing else this mode.

Haha, so I guess everyone would be running brawlers or C-Class mechs with anything that can replace repairing.

Not as much as you think, Nader is amazing for DPS'ing other turret moded cretins and Vangaurd actually has the fastest movement/strongest front armor plate

So yes brawler is good...but thus far_ Far from the only choice.

Rocketeer however sucks pretty bad for the mode.


AS to why gokarting...Play it for 10 minutes, feels like yer in a go-kart trolling around the map all day.

I used to be in a go-karting league. This is nothing like it. It should be called something like go-turreting, turret bananza, or turret assault.
