We've become aware that some of our players with older HAWKEN accounts are receiving errors when attempting to log in to the HAWKEN game client and website.

We've identified the source of this problem and are currently working to resolve it. We will provide additional updates when more information becomes available.

I'm not getting any errors at all, but logging in sometimes takes forever.

1. I fill in the credentials and hit enter
2. "Logging in" screen pops as usual for a few seconds
3. "Syncing account" screen pops in
4. "Connected to chat" pops in along with who all is online in my friendlist
5. But "syncing account" takes forever.... no syncing stats after that


Sometimes "syncing account" works fine, but instead "syncing stats" takes forever...

Sometimes it works if I wait 5 minutes or so, sometimes it doesn't. If it doesn't, I have to kill process and repeat.

Tried verify game cache in steam (no errors) and delete ini files (bug happens even with default ini files). Any idea what causes this_

EDIT: I didn't have this bug the very first day this game migrated to steam, but it started the second day.

Same here, that syncing account and/or syncing stats took a lot longer than usual for me yesterday. Heck I just closed the game with the task manager cuz I was impatient. And then the game got stuck on the sign-in sync! Next time it stopped responding without showing anything (black screen). Thankfully got it working following the instructions given by steam to exit steam and to delete the appcasche (or some folder with a similar name) in the steam folder and restarting the pc. I also removed the Hawken folder in my games before restarting. It took at least 4 mins to sync but it worked Still took longer than usual to sync matches afterwards, but for some reason I've become a lot more patient with syncing

I can not log in. I try to d-click the Hawken icon on my desktop and nothing. I open steam and click play and nothing. I wait for over an hour and nothing. Can someone please help_

Tues Feb 11th and Wed Feb 12th.  None of the available east or west coast servers allow me to join a game.

Even empty servers.

I dont know if this is connected but im constantly stuck at "syncing account" to the point i cant even play (and it even takes forever to log in to the forum, while i have no problems with reading the forum at all), are you working on it or im just "stuck" with the problem _

Steam handled client.
Getting stuck on "syncing account" tab roughly every third match.
I see chat on the background, I hear countdown, but overlaying "syncing account" screen prevents me from taking any action, resulting in kick for inactivity.
"syncing account" screen stays even after that, preventing any interaction with the game and I have to kill the process altogether.

Happens mostly after end of a match, but sometimes right after log-in.

So I don't know what the problem is here, but I get to the login, put in my hawken info to log in and it gives me an error message and says the servers are down. This has been happening since the game moved to steam. The servers can't be down all day every day, and my roommate can play the game. Any ideas as to what is wrong with my game_

You should not be having this experience and we are sorry for the trouble. Please file a ticket with support so we can investigate and get you sorted out. Thanks!

For me also it is taking abnormally long to sync in any way. Also, in games, the game will stop all movements except animations for a few seconds then make everything including me jump around,then it says "Syncing account" again. This has been happening since steam patch.

This is not fixed.  I get stuck at syncing about 90% of the time and have to end task on it.  Please keep looking into this.
