Steam wont launch Hawken. I just downloaded it from Steam and installed it. First of course I uninstalled the regular stand alone version from my pc. I then installed the Steam version. Download and install went as usual but when I click on the game it flashes, steam flashes, and then nothing. If I click on the game icon twice quickly it will pop up with the Steam message box saying failed to launch app as it is already running. When I go looking for it, I can not find it. A simple click on the game icon again will attempt to launch it but again no go....just flashes but no game.

Exact same issue here.  Just installed steam on a new pc, downloaded Hawken and it wont start.

Not working....I try to lunch by the folder win32 in Hawken folder and i got an error 0xc000007b...

I am now having this issue, wtf.

Ok it was all down to the ClientRegistry File.

Once I changed that, it worked again.

Judging by the amount of views this thread has, it seems like quite a few people have experienced it. If you're currently experiencing this, try the solution in the link that The_Silencer posted in this thread. If the problem persists, post here with as much info as possible. Thanks!

I was having the same problem, I went into Documents/My Games/ then I just renamed hawken folder to "Hawken Backup" worked right away
