NEW Mech: G2 Assault

This update introduces an alternative approach to mech design. Our goal is to expand on the playstyles of existing mech classes to allow for more variety among them. In order to do this we're introducing Generation 2 (G2) mechs.

G2 mechs are iterations on existing classes. They have the same ability their predecessor, however they have unique weapon loadouts and slightly different statistics. There are also no alternate primary weapons for G2 mechs. The G2 mechs start at max mech rank, so no progression is required.

Another note about the G2 Assault is that in order to purchase one with HAWKEN Credits, a pilot must have an original Assault mech at max mech rank. Alternatively, the G2 Assault can be purchased at any time with Meteor Credits.

[*]The charge shot on the Breacher was causing double damage in some situations.
[*]Camouflaged mechs were showing up on radar when they were close by.
[*]Fixed a bug that caused the projectiles from the alternate fire mode on the SAARE to have the same properties as regular ones.

So, is this G2 Assault just a regular assault with twin vulcans or what_ Like, when I hear generation 2 mechs, I'm thinking different kinds of movement and models and what-not, not twin primaries. Not to say it isn't cool, but kind of... underwhelming_

And this ain't no minor update. Bravo to you devs! But.

However, why_ I guess it satisfies the crowd who's always wanted dual primaries, but I'm not convinced of its effectiveness or the point of this.  It pushes more mechs out faster, and offers an interesting "upgrade/sidegrade" to those with max mechs, but...I dunno how I feel about this quite yet.  Currently on the fence.

What is the point_  

DPS of a normal Vulcan is roughly 125.  The DPS of both of these vulcans combined is exactly 135.  You get 10 more dps and give up an air-burst projectile.  

I see this as an excuse to push out new mech models and capitalize on the new player "wow" factor.  Why not just push out the models without the G2 mech_  Noobs may see this mech as "awesome" and waste money on it, when there are clearly (from an experience player's perspective) more viable alternatives.

The assault and incinerator are the only 2 mechs that I don't have... looks like I know where both my next HC and MC purchases are going!

In one hand I agree with Xacius, on the other it just looks like fun.  I don't know about other folks, but I am a big fan of fun
