Hi folks

I would to see the Predator get a slight buff to its movement and flying ability to compensate for its awkward play style of hide and seek and mine laying.

With the new patch coming the Predator will now lose its cloak when it dodges, and all mechs are getting a speed increase which allows them to move about the maps faster. Because of this change I believe it will now be harder in general for the Predator to coordinate traps and use zoning as a defensive buffer.

Increasing walk and boost speed and flying ability relative to other B class mechs will allow Predator players to keep up with the fight as it shifts around the map while maintaining a structured tactical approach to laying mines and stalking the enemy.

Alternatively I believe a slight increase to the ROF for the EOC Predator will provide a similar benefit, as it will take less time to set traps.

It's not a matter of speed. It's the weapons which are the problem for me. Sneaking works ok right now, the problem is killing somebody who wasn't previously damaged.

You can not kill anybody in a 1vs1 with this guy.

Mines could use a rework.

Breacher's RoF is too low to be useful, both charged and uncharged shots need a buff IMHO.

Some movement and boost/fly speed tiny buffs can be good. BUT. The arsenal is what concern me more.

It needs way faster ROF for its default weaponry for sure. Faster movement speed and boost speed, to nearly rival an A mech. It needs better air dynamics, to nearly rival that of a rocketeer or assault. It needs a little more armour imo, cause 510 doesn't cut the mustard for mute, maybe 550. Damage on it's default weapons need to be buffed a little more. Heat needs to be reduced also to match the ROF. These are what I think should be adjusted to make it more combat competant.

If you want to be a Professional Yolodriver just go with DETs and the rest EMPs.

My skills with the predator allow me to deliver acupunture treatment to scouts  I feel some maps do not play well to the predators abilitys, i usully play predator in maps origin, uptown, wreckage and facility.

*shrug*

I still think sneaking slowly is generally a waste of time.
