I take the ... umbrella and ... argh, Ima take the second one too. because G2-Umbrella are OP. 100% Front protection with 0% heating. (May not be usable for dealing any kind of damage).

If he's played competitive tribes, this isn't his first rodeo.
It might seem like a lot if you've only ever played games in pubs.
But it's actually straightforward and necessary to the function of organized play.

The rules in place are based on months upon months of experience in organized matches. To be honest, they're really not that bad. No portable scanner, because its a fuzzy bunny map hack, and no more than one of each class for balance/stacking prevention. Imagine 5 rocketeers on Bunker, or 5 Sharpshooters on Bazaar. Yeah, nothing more needs to be said.

Scrims have already been going for a while. We've been playing in organized matches since before the party system was implemented. That's the thing, it's been tested.
Even now, we can confirm that class restrictions are completely necessary. Observe the following game of 3 Grens, 1 Incinerator, and 2 techs on Uptown.
In the first 45 seconds, you can see why class restrictions are entirely necessary, lol. The maps simply aren't balanced to prevent class-stacking. If we removed restrictions during the Pre-season, it'd just be a clusterfuck.
I might remove the class restrictions during the pre-season to demonstrate why they're necessary for organized play. It's going to be stupid, lol.

So here are my suggestions:
- Play an objective oriented game mode.
- Remove all restrictions.
Here's how you fix things:
1.) Wait until a meta has settled.
2.) Wait until Adhesive's changes change the meta.
If the meta is broken (e.g. there is a monoculture of setups used by teams within the league), find the smallest change that can possibly better the meta, do that, then wait. Please involve the community and Adhesive in this.
