On May 1 at 9:30 a.m. we'll be taking the HAWKEN client and game servers offline to deploy the G2 Raider Update.

Why such details can not write directly in the text of the news about the update_

They probably want an easy way to update it, in case everything takes too long.  If everything would be in multiple places it would be more work to change when something went wrong and they do not have much time to fix it

Or they could just like surprises.

The 1 hour Downtime should end at approx. 7:30pm German time
