Without further ado I am pleased to announce the revamped TAW Sponsored Tournament. Many changes have been made and rather than post a long book of info here is a quick informative video for about the event!

I had the time quoted wrong, sorry for the confusion. It is in another 40mins starting at 1600EST and not 1500EST. Please login to the TAW TEamSpeak at the proper time and look for the channel at the very top called 'Hawken Tournament'

Awesome event indeed! When it was starting, I felt kinda cocky, it seemed to me like I was going for sure win from the beginning, but in the end I really had to work hard, those fights against Dr_Freeze and later against Clanqaz, those were really challenging and nearly threw my ego down abit XD Especially the one fight against Dr_Freeze (me and him both on incinerator) where he pushed his ability button and before he slammed the ground, I landed on top of him and got a crushing kill. That was so incredibly close and I was really very lucky to come out as winner.

I also recorded the last fights on Origin against Clanqaz. I noticed on the video that half of the playfield was in the AoE radius of Freeze's incinerator heat "sucker" (damn I can't think of better word atm, sorry, you know what I mean ;-) ), too bad I didn't notice earlier so I could point it out, but I believe it didn't really change anything as I was playing assault and would've used my ability if I was getting too much heat. Sorry for me not noticing earlier :-( and I'm definitely willing to do a rematch if Clanqaz feels it was unfair.

Yes, it was a shame that not a lot of people showed up, but it was fun nonetheless . Zaxik, those games were indeed very close!   Next time mate, next time...

Sorry about the incin AOE, I should have kept an eye on it. If there is a rematch I'd like spectate again (from afar naturally ). I was just so enthralled by the pure skill....

Is this a sticky for a reason anymore_  I thought you guys were holding another tourney then it's just this old thing.

I didn't register for a few reasons, mainly because I didn't know if I would be available until day of.  Is preregistration necessary_  Can I just show up in ts next time_

The other reasons involve scanner and six seeketeers.


Finally, unless you modified the rules on the fly everyone is disqualified
