It's definitely getting better, though, and the journey is a lot of fun, too. Getting killed repeatedly is a pretty good learning tool.

Practice is what matters the most. Besides 1 or 2 exceptions every mech in the game is more than fine to face any other mech you find on the battlefield. Have fun exploring the game!
