On May 22 at 9:30 a.m. we'll be taking the HAWKEN client and game servers offline to deploy a minor game update containing a couple of bug fixes:

• Fixed an exploit where the game could be ended prematurely.
  
• The login error dialog now shows the correct text for banned and suspended accounts.

We expect the downtime to last approximately 1 hour. Thanks for your patience!

How can a player do an exploit to end a match abruptelly_ D:  Anyway, Is good to see that this is getting a fix, was happening a lot latelly.

They probably do not need to patch the client to fix those problems.

I think they're working on figuring out what causes these problems with the servers or already working on a solution.

I don't have every thread and post here committed to memory. The issues you're experiencing wouldn't be related to a patch but it is being looked at. Thanks!

EDIT: We have had some users solve this problem via VPN as Verizon was routing their traffic in less than ideal ways. We'll investigate of course but it may or may not be in our power to fix with the server locations we have in place.

I know my connection is not the best for online games, but do not think a ping over 500 may be possible with 2 megs available.

hurts to clarify that already and seen all the possible solutions, the video shows more detail.

Thanks for creating the 'Europe' server group.  I was able to connect to an I3D server too, but didn't have time to make sure I could join arbitrary games on I3D now.

Can we please get some filter options for matchmaker_ I hate getting dropped on I3D servers, because I get 130 ping on them, other UK servers work fine with 60 ping. Sounds like some bad routing somewhere in-between, so it's probably impossible for you to fix, therefore it would be nice to have a workaround by filter options.
