The Technician has the fastest run speed in Hawken, at 23.5 m/s (84.6 KPH.) That is slower than Jenners (118.8,) Spiders (129.6,) Ravens (97.2,) Firemoths (162, 216 with MASC)...

Oh, and Timberwolves (86.4.)

Yeah, fast mechs are totally ruining the spirit of a certain game of an entirely different genre.

Traditionally speaking, I think MW landscapes and mechs were larger, which offsets that from a gameplay perspective.

NO!

If you cannot fight one then you need to get better as a player. I know I am being an ass about this, but every time a player gets destroyed by a pilot using one I see these threads. These mechs are easy to kill if you learn to aim and us proper tactics.

I have been stomping for about a month now.. crushed, killed.. Dominated.. etc..

and i agree with Omega, man up.. have a cup 'o concrete.. and most importantly.. GET IN THE AA
oh and yeah.. tactics are god here, learn to flank, be the guy they dont see till it's too late.

This aint FASA.. i should know, i used to play in the big leages in the simulators (man i miss them..) many many moons ago (in my teens lol) this is some hybrid stomp fest that is fueled by mayhem and deathball juice.. learn to love it for what it is.. not what it's not.

Play scout or infiltrator and see if you can be OP the first time you play one. Also, my Brawler challenges your Infiltrator/Scout to a duel!

This is entertaining reading.

Really falls into the pilot skill category. The A mechs have such thin skin they can hold up very long if you can aim.

Bruisers may help you get over your fear of them.

But no... they are far from OP.
