Um.. i cant download it, after running the "hawkeninstaller" without any problems. then i open up "hawken" to play i log in and all. then it says downloding and then it comes an error..

i have viruses on my computer that may be the reason, i can't play any gta games. it is the DLL files that is fucked. also i dont have the alpha..

A bit strange for them to let us have the installer, but not able to install until the beta is live_ I would've thought they'd let you download + install, and only play when the clock ticks over...

You assume that they just planned for downloads to fail. It's 6am for the devteam and a lot of European traffic is coming in. Do you think that it's just having trouble keeping up, perhaps_

I got my key; dowloaded the installer and now i got this message: UNABLE TO DOWNLOAD METAFILE.

First of all, this is the thread for "How to uninstall the Alpha 2 client". Does that sound like anything that describes your issue_ Look at some of the other threads in this same forum. Do any of them sound like they describe your issue_ If not, try using the search function, maybe the word "metafile" will help.

If that's too difficult, locate your butt with both hands and then sit on them for the next five hours until the beta servers open.

Got the e-mail saying I can play now... Downloaded the installer, uninstalled old version. "Unable to download metafile."
I'd really like to download the game before having to go to work. That way when I get back I can log in and play right away.. Guess that's not happening.

I also received an email to download; after installing, it updated itself and after several attempts to login (reported it couldn't find the server).  It's logged in but no servers are available to play.   Currently 12:22PM PDT

I had a few issues at first, too, because I had multiple .EXE files downloaded with (1) and (2) behind the name.  I deleted all of those, scrubbed my registry of any instanced of the word "Hawken" (there were none anyway), and the forth time was a charm.  Downloading now. Thanks!

today is saturday 27 oct. 2012 at 3:08 pm. I didn't participate in the alpha testing (missed it) got a beta key for the beta testing. Downloaded, Installed, and I can sign in and start game play, but after going into the garage and prepping my warrior, I then try to launch the game, but nothing . Training says "coming soon" servers say they cant be found. Am I off in my time frame _. not sure how to get this moving forward. Any thoughts _
