Hi all. I've registered with Hawken with my redeemed code so I hope to be included in closed beta. I am also active in two other online Mech games, one of which I'm not allowed to mention, so you probably know what that is. Been playing these games since they first came out. I'll be 62 yrs old in Dec., and I still love playing video games. I also have a full retirement, and still work a full time job. Is there anyone else out there that is as old as me_ If not I hope to see all you kids on the battlefield. :)

Shhhh, don't tell the kids that there are a bunch of retirees out there playing online FPS games.  You'll give the kiddies nightmares.

(Greetings from a fellow retiree who could clearly hear the call of Mr. Galt)
Occupation:  Old guy (do it long enough and you get really good at it)

I'll be 62 in 3 more years! Just started (with Hawken) on line games and promptly got my butt kicked for a couple hours!! Great fun. May need to upgrade my video card to get any where in this game, response time was pretty bad. Is there a training area or a beginners guide somewhere on this site_ Enjoy!!

Mechwarrior was one of my first mech games or did Wild Metal Country come out before that_
Oh Well! I guess you do forget when you start getting older. lol
I'm an old UT fragger from Icrontic. We have a few Icrontians here I believe.
DL'ing the game now and will see you all in game.
Please be easy on the younger old man now.

Welcome BigGar, glad we have some "seasoned pilots" such as myself up in here. i am 41, myself, no stranger to pong, atari or colecovision. i will take your quarters at 720 too.
Any of you over 40 gentlemen interested in an older, more mature and established gaming group, give us a holler on teamspeak!

52 in July. My first game was  Pong, Welcome to the geriatrics battalion!  B)  Body might be aging a bit. But my mind still feels like I'm 20.  Glad to know I'm not the only old person out here! [thought my next step was the Shady Rest Home!] :)

I was always thinking about joining a clan or team but I wasn't sure where my niche might be, a [geriatrics battalion] could be the way to go. :)  Just a thought. I'm so glad there are people playing close to my age! [I never wanted to be the creepy guy in park guy....lol]    :D
