Bomb spawns in - someone picks it up. They get a speed reduction (whatever percentage the devs decide is fair). They will also have a marker on them saying they have the bomb.
They take the bomb to one of the objectives and if they are able to spend 10 second arming the bomb, it will go off in 10 more seconds (again up to devs desecration). This will give the other team 20 seconds to counter.
One of the objectives if destroyed could shut down the base turrets. Another could slow down spawn in. Another could reduce radar functionality... Etc.. Etc. I will say this... I want to avoid stat changes however.
After all three objectives are destroyed the base critically fails and the match is won with whoever has at least one remaining objective. Maybe give bonus points to having more then one objective left standing.... just an idea.
This mode would effectively create a team work based environment. It has roots in other popular games that new players should be able to understand quickly.
Possible Strats: Quick mechs could deliver it quicker but are by nature weaker.
Medium mechs have no weakness but no strength either.
Heavy mechs are more durable but are slower. I hope you all see my logic... Its 0217 my time so I'm a little tired.
