Hi there.  Got my beta key from MMOBomb.com (much thanks), downloaded and installed launcher but when i hit 'Launch' I get a MS error about 'missing MSVCP100.dll.  reinstalling might fix the problem...'

first i downloaded the .dll and extracted to system32 which did not work.  Tried 'regsvr32 msvcp100.dll' in cmd and got 'specific module not found'.  I've updated java cuz it was asking for it and am currently reinstalling hawken.

any and all help is appreciated, been eagerly waiting since august and my heart bout fell out on the floor when i got that stupid error.

you need to download and install the ms visual studio 10 redistributable.

We've seen a few of this error and reinstalling has usually been successfull. It a reinstall doesn't resolve this, please open a support ticket and include the .dll error so we can source it from our side.

The reinstall did work thankfully.  I was dubious as the suggestion was coming from MS' error message hehe.
