I don't know if this is something I can fix without redownloading a 1.8gb download...

yes, you will need to search google a little but there is a lot of programs out there to fix missing .dll files problems

NuclearXmas did you try uninstalling and reinstalling Hawken_  I got the same error the first time i downloaded and installed, the error message said reinstalling might fix the problem so i tried that and it worked.  the second time through it came up with this directx library and some other things i didnt see the first time and i was able to start the game without issue.  Hope this helps.  I didnt think reinstalling was gonna work but it did.  I had the exact same error about msvcp100.dll.

I actually did but I'm still recieving issues. This is a brand new system so that might be the problem_

I updated java too.  Just because the system is new doesnt necessarily mean everything is up to date..might try system updates.  Was hoping the reinstall would do it for ya..sorry cant help more.

Yeah, just needed to download some files from and update some programs. DLL fixer was completely unneccesary. Got it working fine.
