I know that if you play an hour strait or something it gives you 500 mc for free but I burned through that real quick getting a new thruster to look like a pimp though i'd like to know if there's additional ways to earn mc so I could buy a repair drone or say a camo

There are not. You get one freebie, then if you want anything more you have to buy MC.
