Hi,

The download for Hawken keeps failing it's integrity check when trying to run the .exe

Any ideas_

I should probably state I'm running 64 bit Win 7.

Hi. Thanks for the quick reply.  

The error message reads: Installer integrity check has failed. Common causes include incomplete download and damaged media. Contact the installers author to obtain a new copy. More information at : http://nsis.sf.net/N...t/NSIS_Error.  

It pops up after pressing run on the .exe. I'm downloading it through Chrome if that helps_

Probally incomplete download/missing/damaged files while downloading.
You should try, Re-Downloading it From Start. "Delete everything you got (Hawken related) and re- download then install.

Sorted. Thanks very much. Now just getting the ol' meta data error which I hear is pretty common. Will try again later after 21:00 (Europe). Cheers

Can you tell me how you fixed it_ will be usefull for future problems.

There is a way around the metafile error. Look for the Binaries folder in the game's install directory (1-2 levels down). In there is the actual game exe (called HawkenGame-Win32 or something like that) in stead of the launcher. Use the game exe to start the game and gogogo!

ACtually that's offline launcher.

ACtually that's offline launcher.

Well you'll be able to play with it at least, multiplayer doesn't work yet anyway

This thread isn't about the metafile error, you fizzy bunny. This thread is about a download integrity check failure error.

Try and pay attention before you make it obvious to everyone that you're just blindly copy-pasting inappropriately.
