I've noticed the reload time on the slug is faster than Sabot, but my impatience with the non-automatic weapon makes me use RPR instead.

Trust me patience pays off in the end.  The only thing I can see the ripper being useful for is to use it in combo with the ability and go long distance with it cuase you will have 0 spread then and be very accurate at long ranges.

My advice for the reaper is to try to get up close to as many enemies as possible, as much as you can.
Try to find and get into the maximum amount of trouble in the shortest time.
In this way you will learn what you and this class mech are capable of.
You will get better, and calmer in high traffic situations.

Soooooo, always Rambo and try to notice why you die so often_ This sounds painful. Like learning to swim by jumping into the deep end of the pool. Probably effective eventually but damn is it going to suck.

You can soften them up from a range using the sabot and a few ripper volleys, close the gap with your speed and go to town with your ripper in cqc. Works also on enemies trying to close the gap themselves, by the time they are in cqc range, they have half health and you pop your ability and start the dance.

but honestly the am sar works better for this situation.  1.) the am sar has a longer range cut off so the gap thing benefits this weapon far more but still able to use cqc.  2.) the am sar has less heat generation than the rpr so while they are closing that gap and your doing minimal damage cause of the fall off with the rpr your taking unecessary heat generation causeing you to overheat faster when they are finally in cqc range.

the ripper benefits mailny for surprise butt ambushes where you can just litterally rip into them, or like previously stated ive heard with ability you can scop distance wise and get perfect aim with it due to no spread.

Been playing the rpr last couple days to get more experience with it, which I like the damage it does but the overheat is too much.  Overall I still think am sar or slug is better way to go, but the ripper can be fun for certain maps.
