You can't. Titles that aren't the standard "Member", "Advanced Member", etc. can only be given by HWK staff.

Bummer. I thought it was something you earned after X number of posts. I was totally looking forward to setting mine as "Spaceman."

IIRC, there was a sort of "play against the devs" tournament back in Alpha one weekend and some of the prizes were getting to choose custom titles. But I'm sure some people got their titles just for being really close and helping devs back in Alpha, and maybe part of closed beta.

Unfortunately you can't, like Nokari said the Dev's hand it out, just like they handed out "Dev Killer" titles for some of the players that participated in the alpha event.
