Old-time MechWarrior 2 player here. Found hawken a couple of days ago when it came on steam (though I now remember seeing footage of the game considerable amount of time ago. Where has this game been hiding_ O_o). Anyways, just saying hi.

Oh, and I'm fairly easy to spot in the field. I'm in the mad assaulter that wants to give every redberry a big hug

Lol, in all seriousness, welcome to Hawken. If you ever need help, don't hesitate to click my sig. I've got quite a few videos up that should help new players get used to the game. I'm adding more so be sure to check it out.
And yes, unfortunately this game is a bit secluded. Hopefully if you share this game with as many of your friends as you can, it may become less hidden. This game deserves a bigger player base.
