You're very lucky.  The only guy in North Korea who has access to internet is a celebrity, a living legend.  Very few people get that chance and live to tell the tale.


I commented about how I find it useless to learn somewhat obscure languages even though it's admirable.  I didn't realize that it would turn the thread into an "I speak those languages" thread.
...But I suppose that those who need translating can just PM 'iguana...

while AcDu Navy, i found it "interesting" to consider learning Tagalog, Mandarin, Chamorro, Farsi, or Arabic, as in my travels I encountered them, but seldom had real need of speaking them, so never got around to it.
Now, retired in a melting-pot Military municipality, I encounter speakers of one or several of these languages almost daily. And if I go to the (Va) Beach, Russian, RV parks, Canadien French. Public service translators are a niche profession, here.

I only get angry in english. Why_ Because the internet is in english (and don't even try to discuss that) and on the internet, it's my alter ego that takes the wheel.
