My name is Landon. I'm 32 and a newcomer to Hawken and current gaming altogether. Last game I was into was Descent, circa 1999. After, my Pentium D powered PC died. I rebuild and upgraded; Gigabyte Gaming 5, 4ghz i7, SSD, the works. I found Hawken on steam and... Geez!... I've been missing out.

Hey nice! If you haven't been playing modern games for a while, 1820 is a fantastic MMR to be at. Welcome to Hawken. You can shoot pretty much any community member that you see around a message if you need help with anything. Be sure to check out some of the guides, events, and all manner of other things on the forums.

Those games Rocked!
When they came out with the third version, Freespace, it Flopped big time or maybe it was the fact that my old pc was too weak to run it.
It had 6 degrees of movement and I don't think there has been a game since then to reproduce its game play.
It is kind of like Hawken but without the flying. Maybe that's why like Hawken so much_
Anyway, welcome to the game and the forums. I will add you and maybe we can play a few games together.
For a while there, I played Siege mode exclusively, but I'm now trying to rotate though the other modes.
