Knowing that Scouts rarely returned from reconnaissance missions, the L2 Moke model was initially designed specifically for these mechs. The composition utilized salvaged shuttle wreckage scavenged from the scrapyard. The design was eventually updated to a more streamlined version, but the iconic cylindrical fuel-canister cockpit was preserved, and is often outfitted as a tribute to the brave Scout pilots who gave their lives during the course of battle.
(Thanks Hawkenwiki)
Okay.
So there is one version made from scrap, and one made from more streamlined parts.
Now go and look at the elite and normal skins for scout.
This might be kinda obvious, but maybe, not, but I found it kinda interesting.
Yeah.
