Hello!

TPG's second season is officially underway, with pre-season matches set for the next three weeks.  General rules for this pre-season can be found here, and updated rules will be posted on the main site shortly.  Please note that additional teams are free to join throughout the pre-season.

One additional rule concerns a bit of a bug on certain private servers (namely on The Omniscient and the TPG League servers).  Neither server currently possesses the pre-match wait time that allows server admins to set teams properly.  In other words, teams could begin playing before their opposition is ready.  To preempt any such issues, we request that both team captains indicate their readiness by typing "Ready" in chat.  The captain with admin privileges will then count down from 3 (in chat), and the word "Go" will signify the game's start.  Until the word "Go" has been transmitted, no players from either team are allowed to leave their spawn point or to shoot in the direction of the enemy spawn (provided the spawn's visible on that map). Additionally, neither team should spawn any players until the teams have been properly arranged.

The chat log should look like this:

"Ready"
"Ready"
"3"
"2"
"1"
"Go"

Not an ideal solution, I know, but I trust that we've all maturity enough to abide by those regulations.  If you believe that significant issues will arise, please request that one of the other private servers be made available for your match.

As for the Pre-season Schedule, I'll list the full thing below.  You'll be able access the TPG scheduling tool through your Team Panel on the TPG League site.  Games may be scheduled and played at any point between the listed Mondays and Sundays.  If you require help scheduling a match or acquiring private server access, please contact me through the forums or through Steam (OmniNept).

Week 1 (Monday, September 29th - Sunday, October 5th)
Moose vs (Bye)
SASC vs Vanguard
Vendetta vs TANG
RATA vs A-A
TBT vs T1

Week 2 (Monday, October 6th - Sunday, October 12th)
Vanguard vs (Bye)
Moose vs SASC
Vendetta vs T1
RATA vs TBT
A-A vs TANG

Week 3 (Monday, October 13th - Sunday, October 19th)
SASC vs (Bye)
Moose vs A-A
Vanguard vs Vendetta
RATA vs T1
TBT vs TANG

Since we've an uneven number of teams (9), the top three teams from the previous season will each miss one match during the pre-season.  Please note that this schedule is not set in stone, as it were, and may change if additional teams join during the pre-season period.  If you've any questions, feel free to ask below.

*Edit* Almost forgot! Map restrictions.  Currently the only restricted map is Bazaar.  That leaves teams free to select from Bunker, Facility, Frontline, Last Eco, Origin, and Wreckage.  Remember, we're running a best of three format; each team selects one map, and TPG will select the tiebreaker map for that week (as will be visible on the site scheduler).

Ooh, okay.

Everybody, get your stomping boots on! (I love mine-- they're leather, with steel toes and deep treads.)

Yeah, but dude, we are at 1750. As much as we would like to be Professional Yolodrivers like you [Meraple] and Lightangel112, we're not there yet. It's something to aspire to, sure, but there's a lot of ground to cover.

No. Moose are an elaborate piece of propaganda spread by the Canadian government in an attempt to intimidate outsiders. Fact.

Keep in mind that if people are team-switched while alive, their death will subtract points from whatever team they spawn on.  Gotta make sure nobody spawns until teams are set up properly, or you won't be starting with 1500 - 1500 and I would hate to see that determine a match's outcome.

Of all the animals inawoods here in NH, it's the friggin' moose that I have a healthy fear of.
Even our black bear can simply be scolded off (excepting mother w/ young). Our big cats are extremely bashful, our coydogs are cowards.
But Moose fear nothing and are scary huge. They're not necassarily mean, they just don't give a ****.

Its so obvious that they are fake. The moose are obviously computer generated and half of the people in the pictures were inserted using Photoshop. Canadian propaganda is spreading into the US now. WE MUST TAKE A STAND!
