Because a mech is piloted by someone inside, there has to be a space where the pilot is inside controlling the mech, but where is that place_

I think it's one of the legs.

Upper torso is the likeliest place to sit in, though.

Don't think too hard about it - down that path lies madness.

This is why I shoot at the legs, you get bonus damage for hitting the pilot.  So this way ur enemy dies faster :).  Thats why I think I win a lot of duels.

Fred is sad hes not like the other robots

As others have said, in the upper torso.

What abut the windscreen_ Most mechs use cameras placed on the outside. Check out the Infil, Reaper, and Grenadier's elite skins.

Yeah, but dude, we are at 1750. As much as we would like to be Professional Yolodrivers like you [Meraple] and Lightangel112, we're not there yet. It's something to aspire to, sure, but there's a lot of ground to cover.

As many others have said, I believe it is in the Cockpit.

I know for a fact at least one pilot is remote controlling it while eating beef jerky and drinking cheap wine, in his underwear.

I ride from the mecha-saddle I installed on the back of all my mechs. Ah, the wind whipping against my face, that is what war is truly about.

I always had this in mind too. With some mechs is pretty obvious where the pilot goes. Brawler has a round camera bolted, so the pilot probably sees a projection from that camera on a plate. Did you notice that the Brawler has headlights_ =D
Now another question. How does the pilot control the mech_
Two sticks_ One for weapons and another for movement_ How about dodging, hovering, internals or such_
What do you think_

Most mechs have a camera lookin' thing somewhere near the front. If not, then a windshield like on the boot (inf) chassis. That model is old anyway.

Actually, inside of the cockpit there is a small wooden Ikea desk. On this desk the pilot has a military grade keyboard and mouse for superior controls. You see, the advantage of the keyboard over dual joysticks is twofold:

- You can advertise the wonderful events organised by the players (shameless advertising)
- You can type to people how big of a scrub they are and to git gud.

It was the most logical solution, ofc.

A helmet mounted space monitor, of course.
