- Bug: Any changes made in the settings menu revert to their previous state when the menu is closed. Changes are not applied on launching a match.
- Cause: Attempting to change graphics settings.
- Reproduction: 100%, graphics settings will not change.
- Severity: 5, my computer is unable to handle the game on highest settings and crashes to desktop with an "out of video memory" error. Since I can't reduce the settings, the game is completely unplayable.

The "Apply" button is above the options and is fairly light-coloured.
This isn't a bug, just a slightly bad UI design choice.

I'd start by turning everything as low as possible, and then typing stat fps in the console to get your FPS rates. Then go into matches and gradually increase the graphics settings (and the resolution) until you start to get bad performance again. Or, as low as possible so that it's playable.

Best ratio between looks and performance is achieved by:
1) set resolution on the native resolution of the screen. Better e.g. 1280x1024 with "low" settings than e.g. 800x600 with high (obviously), because that is easier on the eye when playing and keeps everything slightly less "blocky" (and text remains readable).
2) Turn off DOF (Depth of Field), light effects (cannot exactly remember what it is called) and motion blur. These settings are real performance killers while these are not essential for a nicely looking game.
3) Put the texture detail settings on "low", just like the other setting that gives "low" as a potential choice (forgot it's name). If the framerates are decent, try medium.
4) Shut down things like Bittorrent, to save network bandwidth and avoid lag.
