I noticed a change right away how special abilities are shown as from previous versions. To me it is actually harder to tell if you have an ability up, how long it lasts and the cool down.  In the other version it was pretty clear as the Assault and Sharpshooter class that your ability was active and easier to see the cool down bar.

As of closed beta will we have a different look then what we have now_ The icon at the far top is very much out of the way (i'm not sure if it's because of a larger screen or what) and from the start had no idea the effect was active, not even a sound that signals that it was working. Hopefully this system they have now is just a testing phase as it was better in the other version (to me at least) and it would help abilities that don't already have a visual effect. I think it would benefit the players to have a visual or auditory sign that your ability is activated.
