That said, it's not the same composers, I know that for a fact. Kenichiro Fukui did Einhander's soundtrack; Melty Blood was mostly Masaru Kuba, better known as RAITO.

You two are my favourite people on this forum now. I'd have to say my top two favourite X5 tracks were:
And
And tell me about it! Einhander blew my mind when I was younger. How did Melty Blood play_ It was a fighting game, right_

And since I'm biased as hell, I'll throw in a video that has my favorite character from it in here, Tohno Akiha. Even though the Akiha player loses by a final count of 5-1. (Boo!) The F-Ciel is impressive as hell though.

Maybe not appropriate for "battle music" but it should make any oldschool, NES-era Megaman fan smile.

A music player integratation function with Hawken.
For some the Symphony of gunfire is enough.
For the rest of us there is nothing that enhances a good stomp than the soothing sounds of heavy metal. It just make a kill better.
Your library, your music. Hawken the way it should be.
Compatability with iTunes or Mediaplayer would make Hawken even more awesome.

If you want to know what I hear, go read any of Beemann's more lengthy posts and then imagine him talking like that, about something completely unrelated to Hawken or his soothing mockery of bad game design (which often means mocking Firefall these days).
Occasionally other's may chime in.
Mumble channels FTW.

On the plus side, it does mean I get to foist my tastes on you. Heheh.
The [media] tags only allow me to "embed" up to five per post. Gonna have to split it over multiple posts, it looks like... but I guess I'll save files for multiple posts in this thread.
For now, have these five.

And suddenly I feel compelled to put in a great Unreal song that I think would work quite well here. On a desert map most likely.

Ones maybe more fitting, actually.
I suppose it's as good a time as any to toss in a few Unreal ones here!

Usually random metal that sounds good, like Judas Priest, Helloween (like "We Damn the Night"), Iron Savior. Metal is very good at being fitting for games, as they seem to be fans of space ships, lasers, robots, and explosions.
The Double Dragon Neon soundtrack is also great, if for no other reason then hearing Skeletor sing about how he dared to dream.
Hunter from MW4 was also a good song.
Need to find a way to get Phantom Crash's soundtrack because it had a nifty variety of music.
