i played in alpha 2, and fell in love with hawken very soon.
only a few minor problems, games were running smooth and nice nearly each and every match
---> very nice!

then came beta-weekend-1...
i wasn´t able to login a single game...
not even once.
---> pretty annoying!

then came beta-weekend-2.
i am getting bluescreens, wenever a match starts.
tried it 3 times, bluescreened 3 times.
---> this sucks!!!

my win 7 home prem/64 is updated as usual. my drivers are new and nice and shiny, i have not had A SINGLE bluescreen in other games for the last 3 years (believe it, or not).

the closer the "realease date" comes, the worse this game seems to be running...

no, i ain´t gonna reinstall my system,
no i ain´t gonna buy a new pc,
and no i also ain´t gonna offer my left kidney for a bugfix.

you wanted feedback... so feel free to enjoy this post...
and maybe start thinking about the reasons of a dramatical reduction of system-compatibility during your stages of development.

btw: you wanna sell pre-purchase-packages_

Could possibly be useful to the devs to get a hold of your windows crash dumpfiles, see if those have some information about what's going wrong. If you are not aware of how the windows dump files work and want to try and help then I would be glad to try to aid you in collecting that information and who knows, maybe we might even figure out the problem and let you rejoin the beta.

If you where having so many problems there was a support forum, I am certain people would have been happy to help but constructive feedback this is not sorry.

Just saying "My computer bluescreens when playing!" is actually not helpful feedback. For technical issues like this, they need all the details you can give them. Just giving an OS and saying your drivers are up to date are not enough, hell, for all we know, the latest driver of your card could be causing the blue screen.

/sigh why do people put themselves on a podium like this. Here let me assist you. How bout providing a dxdiag file and post this in the bug forums including the Blue Screen error message you are receiving so that they might be able to assist you with something like this. I mean come on.

a developer contacted me already.

for the interested ones: it seems to me, i had some corrupted video-settings ingame.
resetting each parameter a couple of times, finally resulted in a running game.
weird, but true.

His English fluency is kind of beside the point, but either way, snarking at someone for not using proper capitals is pretty off-topic for the Hawken forums. Please be nice to people.

If you had snuck it in to the bottom of a detailed and insightful post, okay, I wouldn't be calling you on this. But you came in here just to post that.
