Is there any way to change a mech's primary, secondary or alternate primary weapon_
I was able to do this in a previous alpha but the weapon loadouts appear to be locked in place in this version. I hope I'm just missing something!

you can switch your alternate primary once your mech lvl has maxed out, which is at lvl 20. It shouldn't take too long. An XP booster would speed it up significantly.

Yikes. Seems a little extreme when you have to buy the weapon as well.

Primary is the only one that can be swapped. Secondary on a mech is always fixed.
You can choose between two weapons at the start, and as was said, you can purchase different alternate primary weapons once you hit Level 20. However, one of the two primary weapons (the default one) will always be the same, so the only one you can choose to change out is the alternate primary.

Don't know. I had planned on testing one extensively, but I have to grind for it right now...

Met an assault with vulcan today that hosing faces off like it was going out of style. He was a good match for me in my infiltrator but he left the server.

Anyone know what sharpshooter gets at level 20_ Im guessing HEAT but im hoping vulcan for pure ridiculousness.

I don't think handing the Sharpshooter a generic B-class weapon is really going to work, especially if Assault is running around with the Vulcan. If Assault got the Slug as a cross-class upgrade I could see giving Sharpshooter the assault rifle to reciprocate, but... somehow I doubt that's the case here.
I know at least a few CBT1ers got SS to 20. Hopefully they'l see this thread and chime in.

i don't think the sharpshooter gets anything at lvl 20 enless they changed it from CB1
