.. as virtual CDs in the mech, or something similar.
i know i can have my tunes playing in the back anyway but it would be better if they were part of the game.

I think its a terrible idea.. I don't want music going on when combat is happening I won't even know what is going on in game like if my base is attacked or not.. If I had some person on my team in siege jamming out to music and not paying attention just doing his own thing then he deserves a vote kick..

I think we easily can have the choice to open or not the mp3 radio. So we can put our MP3 into a mp3 folder in game directory, and in-game, with a shortcut put on or off the music.

Like this everyone will be happy :)

im not as deep into team playing as you are obviously but i still see your point. what if the music came through at a low wireless tune-in radio quality to better fit the theme of the game, even losing its reception when in underground areas. i can get lost in music but if it was slightly hissy and crackly like old school radio id still enjoy the nostalgic sounds while not getting too caught up in the tune.

What if instead of one person. What if before the match take a vote on who will play music in your team . And go from there. Or a get an Internet radio to sponsor hawken and use that. And who ever doesn't want to jam while playing just
Have an option of muting the radio/music and have default gam music and sounds . _ I think si!:D
