Hey guys,

I get the above error message when I try to log into Hawken. I friend of mine can login fine at same point of time. For me it just doesn't work. I already tried opening ports but that didn't do anything.

Anyone_ Help would be very much appreciated.

I too have this issue, I have tried many times accross two days with no luck.

Any suggestions_

EDIT: I can log in to the launcher, it's the in game log in screen I am getting the error.

Yeah - same for me.

EDIT: I found the reason - it was just my ESET Firewall. You need to allow Network/Internet-Access for the launcher.exe and for HawkenGame-Win32-Shipping.exe.

I'm having the exact same issue.  Anyone have a clue on how to get around this_

ESET was the problem, it only adds one of the .exe files to the exception list by default.  I manually added the missing one and it now works.  I assume this might be the case with other firewalls as well.
